Description of the event: The Solana-based mini entertainment project DoodiPals suffered a private key leak. The attacker sold tokens from dozens of wallets and exchanged them for SOL, making a total profit of about 917 SOL (approximately $171,000 USD).
Description of the event: According to a BlockSec Phalcon alert, Sharwa.Finance disclosed that it had suffered an attack and subsequently suspended operations. However, several hours later, multiple suspicious transactions occurred again, suggesting that the attacker might have exploited the same underlying vulnerability through slightly different attack paths. In general, the attacker first created a margin account, then used the provided collateral to borrow additional assets through leveraged lending, and finally launched a sandwich attack targeting the swap operations involving the borrowed assets. The root cause appears to lie in the lack of a bankruptcy check in the swap() function of the MarginTrading contract. This function is responsible for swapping borrowed assets from one token (e.g., WBTC) to another (e.g., USDC). It verifies solvency only once — based on the account state at the start of the swap — before executing the asset exchange, leaving room for manipulation during the process.Attacker 1 (address starting with 0xd356) conducted multiple attacks, earning approximately USD 61,000, while Attacker 2 (address starting with 0xaa24) executed a single attack, gaining around USD 85,000.
Description of the event: Astra Nova announced on X that its third-party managed account was compromised, allowing the attacker to take control and liquidate assets. The team stated that they are taking necessary measures and will involve law enforcement once evidence collection is complete. They also emphasized that the smart contracts and infrastructure remain secure. According to monitoring by @ai_9684xtpa, the attacker associated with Astra Nova dumped tokens and gained at least $9.09 million in profit. Among them, the addresses beginning with 0x9E6 and 0x643 profited more than $6.18 million. Except for address 0x643, which used Zerion to sell, most of the sales were executed through 1inch.
Description of the event: According to Typus Finance’s post-incident analysis report, on October 15, 2025, an attacker exploited a critical vulnerability in the project’s oracle module to drain funds from the TLP contract. The stolen assets include 588,357.9 SUI, 1,604,034.7 USDC, 0.6 xBTC, and 32.227 suiETH, with an estimated total value of approximately USD 3.44 million.
Description of the event: According to monitoring by Scam Sniffer, the official X account of Watt Protocol was compromised, and the attacker used it to post phishing tweets.
Description of the event: MIN Spell posted on X that the team discovered a security vulnerability affecting some deprecated V4 Cauldrons on the Ethereum mainnet. During the attack, the attacker minted 1.79 million MIM. Shortly afterward, the DAO Treasury identified and fixed the vulnerability, confirmed that no other Cauldrons or user funds were affected, and repurchased all impacted MIM from the market, fully offsetting the impact of the attack.
Description of the event: On October 1, BNB Chain officially announced that its English Twitter account had been compromised and was under emergency recovery, warning users not to click on any links.Subsequent investigation revealed that the incident involved a total of 10 phishing links, resulting in losses of approximately $8,000, with a single user losing as much as $6,500.The attacker deployed a phishing contract address, injected $17,800, and exchanged it for $22,000 worth of tokens. Following the incident, the team implemented additional security measures to prevent similar occurrences and further strengthened account protection. As of October 31, all user compensations related to this phishing incident have been completed, and transaction details are available on Etherscan. The root cause of the incident has been confirmed as phishing links, which have since been removed and brought under control.
Description of the event: The DeFi protocol dTRINITY suffered an exploit targeting its swap adapter contracts, resulting in the loss of approximately $56,000 belonging to core team members.
Description of the event: The DeFi protocol Hyperdrive, built on the Hyperliquid chain, was exploited. The attacker repeatedly abused an arbitrary call vulnerability in the router, resulting in a loss of approximately $782,000.
Description of the event: The DeFi protocol HyperVault, built on the Hyperliquid chain, has executed a rug pull, making off with approximately $3.61 million.
Description of the event: The attackers exploited a misconfigured LayerZero bridge along with a compromised private key for the GAIN BSC contract. By setting a malicious peer contract on Ethereum, they bypassed validation checks and minted 5 billion counterfeit GAIN tokens on BSC. The attackers then sold approximately 150 million of these counterfeit tokens (about 2.8% of the total fake supply) on PancakeSwap, cashing out around USD 3 million.
Description of the event: According to on-chain investigator ZachXBT, Japan’s financial giant SBI Group may have experienced a security breach involving its cryptocurrency mining subsidiary, SBI Crypto. Wallet addresses associated with the company reportedly saw approximately USD 21 million in suspicious outflows on September 24. The stolen funds included multiple cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). The attacker transferred the funds through five instant exchange platforms before ultimately depositing them into the Tornado Cash mixing protocol.
Description of the event: Meta Alchemist, founder of the Web3 incubator and launchpad platform Seedify, announced on X that one of its SFUND bridges was recently hacked. According to Seedify’s official account, a DPRK-affiliated group known for multiple Web3 exploits gained access to a developer’s private key. Using this access, the attackers were able to mint a large number of SFUND tokens through a bridge contract that had previously passed audit. As a result, the OFT contract was compromised, allowing the attackers to alter its settings and mint unauthorized tokens on Avalanche.Subsequently, the hacker transferred the minted tokens across multiple chains, including BNB, where they sold most of the SFUND tokens. In response, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao stated that he had communicated with several security experts in the industry, who successfully tracked and froze approximately $200,000 of the stolen funds on the HTX exchange.
Description of the event: The DeFi project Corepound, built on the Core DAO blockchain, has carried out a rug pull, making off with approximately $400,000.
Description of the event: AI-driven Web3 social platform UXLINK suffered an attack affecting platform-related assets, resulting in losses exceeding USD 11 million. Investigation showed that the attacker had prepared for months prior to the incident, impersonating a business partner and leveraging deepfake video conferencing as part of a social engineering scheme. Through these methods, the attacker gained access to the personal devices of several SAFE key holders and obtained sensitive information such as passwords and private keys. After gaining control over the legacy arb-UXLINK smart contract, the attacker executed unauthorized token minting and subsequently transferred and sold the assets. UXLINK CEO Rolland Saf stated that several million dollars have been recovered through immediate collaboration with exchanges, and all recovered funds have been allocated to buybacks in support of the community. In addition, significant security enhancements have been made to signing devices, internal processes, and infrastructure to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
Description of the event: On September 14, the stablecoin protocol Yala disclosed that a recent security incident occurred when a hacker abused a temporary deployment key during the setup of an authorized cross-chain bridge. The attacker deployed an unauthorized bridge and extracted 7.64 million USDC (approximately 1,636 ETH). On October 29, the suspect involved in the case was arrested by law enforcement in Bangkok, Thailand, and most of the affected funds have been successfully recovered.
Description of the event: Kame Aggregator suffered an exploit due to a design flaw in the swap() function, which allowed arbitrary executor calls. This vulnerability enabled attackers to transfer tokens authorized to the AggregationRouter by users, particularly those with unlimited or oversized approvals. The total value of affected assets was approximately $1.32 million, of which around $946,000 was recovered by the Kame team from the primary exploiter, and about $22,000 was recovered by white-hat hackers.
Description of the event: The Shibarium bridge, connecting the Layer 2 network of the same name to Ethereum, was targeted in a flash loan attack, resulting in a loss of approximately $2.4 million. The attacker used a flash loan to purchase 4.6 million BONE tokens and obtained validator signing keys, gaining control of the majority of validator power, and ultimately signed a malicious state to drain assets from the bridge.
Description of the event: Nemo Protocol, a DeFi protocol on Sui, was attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $2.4 million.
