Gate US is the US-regulated subsidiary of Gate (formerly Gate.io), one of the longest-running cryptocurrency exchanges in the industry. It operates under separate US licensing from the global Gate.com platform and offers spot trading on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and a curated set of major altcoins to American retail customers. The US product surface is intentionally narrower than Gate's global app — futures, leveraged tokens, and most long-tail altcoin pairs are excluded — but the spot offering covers the major venues that serve US-based retail traders.
